so it's been awhile. sorry. it's just kinda boring now. the only people that even read this are people i talk to all the time, so they already know what's going on in my life. anyway, Christmas, was of course, amazing. i got everything i wanted and more. i don't know why God has chosen to bless me in such incredible ways, but i'm sure glad He has. i love my life. i haven't been so happy in a long long time. i look forward to every single day. wake up smiling, fall asleep smiling. i'm just a very lucky girl. oh yeah, and there's this boy. i kinda like him. he's the best. the very best. : )

I love you. I mean it.

This is a song written by a good friend of mine who is battling cancer. He is going through another round of chemo...and well...he's holding on to whatever life he can grasp right now. Cancer is my worst enemy and i wish it were never born.

Please read the lyrics. They are really very special, not to mention truthful. Spencer has a way with words that not too many people on this earth are blessed with. The meaning behind each word he chooses for his songs is powerful. If you like what you read...let me know. They have cds you can buy, and although they have stopped touring for now because of his treatment...i'm convinced that he will make a strong comeback because that's just who he is. Also...if you've gotten this far through my longest post of life...then read on. If you're on a "quick escape" right now...don't think you're alone. That's the worst feeling in the world. I've taken an escape before, and they can be detremental to your health. But moreso than that, your escape can be harmful to the people you love most. We, as humans, don't fully grasp what love truly is. I don't think we can until we meet Jesus. Until that day though, the strongest love besides that from our Heavenly Father comes from our family and our friends. There are people in this world who love you more than anything and would willingly give their very lives just to save yours. So, for their sake...won't you please come home safe tonight.

here's what's up...

1. my family is moving; which is a true blessing, but nonetheless, i am a little sad.

2. i recently acquired a new job, which means i now have two. the first one is a job which everyone thinks is really cool and will look extremely good on my resume thereby helping me get a job in the future...but i HATE it. the second one, in my eyes, is WAY more awesome than the first, is giving me excellent experience, and pays double the amount the other one is. i can't quit the first one though. mom and dad say no. i am sad about that.

3. this weekend: friday- went to the game, saturday- worked from 8am-6pm at the game, went to the follies party, today- went home, hung with the fam, went to see Derailed, played Imaginiff... at Third Place. Fun weekend, not long enough.

4. i need a date to our formal, and i don't know what to do. it would be so much easier if i just had a boyfriend. but i don't. so i'm gonna have to suck it up and ask someone. i hate it. it will be so much fun though. i just don't know what to do, but i need to get a move on.

5. my little bro just got his license so he will be coming to stay with me very soon and i'm really stoked about that. he's awesome.

6. i am lonely, but i have lots of amazing friends.

7. i am still lonely. don't know why.
